CLARK/BISBEE REUNION~JUNE 23, 2007
SECRETARY MINUTES
Saturday, June 23, 2007 was a most beautiful, sunshiny day—just a perfect setting for the 21st annual reunion of the Clark/Bisbee Family.
.
There were 26 present, adults and children. A low number, to be sure, but those who attended had a wonderful time –good food, fellowship and relaxation, enjoyed by all.
.
The noon meal featured a good variety of delicious home cooked dishes, shared and enjoyed.
.
In mid afternoon a brief business meeting was held to discuss the need of a new treasurer. Chuck McConnell needs to step down from his office due to illness. We are so very grateful for your long and good service these past several years, Chuck. And, we all wish you the best as you have those treatments in the coming months. And may we add, prayers too. Also, remember John Clark and Cindy, as they are going through a tough time too, with his cancer. You both are very important to us.

Bill McConnell volunteered to be Treasurer for the coming year, (thank you, Bill.) and Pat Shields will be Secretary. A vote of confidence was given by all present.
.
There was a balance of $304. 00 in the treasury to date.
.
Later an auction yielded $37.00. Donation: Jim Clark, $13.25; Donation: Brenda Manry, $5.00, for a total of $55.25 received. Meat, and charcoal were donated by Trevor and Adrienne Smith. Cold cuts, cheese and buns were also donated by Donna and Jeff Johnston. Chicken was bought by Bill McConnell. Thank you all!

An afternoon of fun and relaxation (including the thrill of watching a bald eagle flying over the the dam.) Some rented a boat, some played ball, and others swapped stories while sitting in the glorious shade, and of course, there was swimming, too.

Dinner (finishing the leftovers) was served at 5 pm. And shortly thereafter, the inevitable good-byes were said, with good wishes shared for the coming year and the promise to return on June 28th, 2008 to the Little Pine Dam, Waterville. Pa.
